At Gemma Analytics, we help clients become more data-driven by leveraging data to drive smarter marketing strategies and optimize business performance. As a Marketing & Tracking Analyst, you'll not only work with marketing data but also dive into the engineering side of analytics, enabling more sophisticated and actionable insights. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with client stakeholders and our internal data specialists to ensure that tracking, analytics, and reporting are efficiently set up to maximize the value of data across campaigns. This role gives you the opportunity to tackle complex problems while helping startups and SMEs make well-informed, data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities:
As we are tooling-agnostic, you will touch on multiple technologies and understand the in’s & out’s of what is currently possible in the data landscape
Implement and optimize tracking setups across web and app environments, ensuring accurate data capture for marketing performance analysis
Develop and optimize marketing attribution models, customer segmentation strategies, and other analytical methods that improve campaign performance
Collaborate and connect with domain experts to solve data and tracking obstacles in various industries
Develop advanced data reporting and visualizations
Apply data modeling methodologies and contribute to a robust data platform for our clients
You are someone who loves working with marketing and tracking data and is eager to learn and grow within the field of analytics engineering.
Besides that, we are looking for the following:
Experience with SQL and relational databases
At least 3 years of experience in marketing analytics or performance marketing, with a proven track record in analysing and optimizing campaigns
Strong experience with tracking tools, especially GA4, and the ability to implement and optimize tracking for both web and app environments
Fluency in English
Optional: Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar, to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Optional: Experience with one or more programming languages (Python preferred)
Optional: Experience with managing stakeholder relationships in projects
